Day 01 : Dehradun to Kedarnath and Badrinath visit

Dehradun to Kedarnath

Arrival at Guptkashi/Sersi/Phata (Kedar Base Helipad): Arrive from Dehradun and change the helicopter.

Flight to Kedarnath: Take a 6-10 minute flight to Kedarnath from the kedar base helipads.

Note: You may have to wait for 10 minutes to 3 hours during helicopter change due to shuttle slots, weather, or technical reasons.

Arrival at Kedar-top Helipad: Reach the Kedar-top Helipad.

VIP Darshan at Kedarnath Temple: Our handlers will escort you for VIP darshan at the Kedarnath Temple.

Fly to Badrinath: After darshan, fly from Kedarnath Base Helipad to Badrinath Helipad.


Kedarnath to Badrinath

Head to Badrinath: Depart for the beautiful city of Narayan, Badrinath.

Arrival at Badrinath Helipad: Upon arrival, our handlers will transfer you to the temple parking area.

Escort to the Temple: From the parking, the handler will escort you to the Badrinath Temple for a swift VIP darshan of Badri Narayan.

Leisure Time: Spend some leisurely hours in the Valley near the temple.

Return to Dehradun: After darshan, we will fly you back to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun.

Flexible Flying Time:

  • Flying time is subject to permissions and weather conditions.
  • Changes may occur due to weather or technical reasons.

Body Weight Limitation:
  • Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total weight limitation of 445 kg for all 6 passengers.
  • Heli Yatra reserves the right to de-board passengers if the actual body weight deviates from what was provided at the time of booking.
  • No refunds will be provided for any passenger who is de- boarded due to incorrect body weight.
  • Passengers are requested to provide exact body weight measured on an electronic scale.
  • Passengers with a body weight of above 75 kg will be charged INR 2,000 per kg excess. This amount will be collected in Dehradun before the flight.
  • If the given body weight is incorrect, passengers will be charged INR 2,500 per kg on the final check by the pilot, or they will be de-boarded without any refund.


Luggage Weight:
      • 1 small soft bag (max. 5 kg) per passenger, this duffel bag will be provided by us on the day of arrival.
      • Hard-case luggage or large bags are not allowed.


        Flying Schedule:
        •  Dham sequence may vary due to weather, technical issues, or government permissions.
        •  The departure time and sequence are subject to change.


        Infants:
        • Infants under 2 years travel free with valid ID/Birth Certificate.


        No Flying:     

        • If there is no flying due to bad weather or force majeure, we will provide a proportinal refund (excluding taxes, royalty fees and 10% flight preparation charges).


        Medical/Special Conditions:

        • Inform us in advance if any medical or special conditions exist. We reserve the right to de-board passengers who do not disclose this information.
        Passenger Grouping:
        •  A single vehicle will be provided for a group of 6 passengers throughout the tour.
        •  Passengers may be shifted between helicopters for safe weight distribution.


        Bad Weather Conditions:
        • Flying in the hills is subject to bad weather conditions, Force Majeure factors, such as:

                      - Late Reporting of Passengers at helipads     

          • Passenger Preparedness: Passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios.
            • Additional Day: It is strongly advised to keep 1 additional day at hand, over & above the 3N4D period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.
            • Due to backlog, bad weather, or any natural circumstance, the itinerary may be amended, and only Ekdham can be covered in 1 day or Dodham in 2 days.
            • In most situations, if there is a backlog due to bad weather, the trip may be cancelled.
            • If Dodham is completed in 2 days, extra night halt charges will be borne by guests on actuals.


            Rescheduling of Booking:
            • 20% charge applies for rescheduling 30 days before the tour.
            • Less than 30 days notice will result in a fresh booking with applicable cancellation charges.

            Payment Terms:
            • 50% deposit at the time of booking; balance due 30 days before departure.
            • Full payment required before departure to board the helicopter.


            Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:

            • If 1 Dham is completed and 1 Dham is left out, passengers will be refunded INR 12,000 per person.
            • This refund is exclusive of additional expenses such as:
            • Extra night halt
            • Extra transfers
            • Other additional services outside of the package inclusions.


            Additional Services: 

            • Costs for additional services at any Dham will be deducted from the refund.
            • No refund will be provided for unutilized services during the tour.

            Cancellation Policy:
            • Up to 30 days before flying date: 40% cancellation charge.
            • 0 to 30 days before flying date: No refund.

            Extra Night Halt:  
            • Any extra night halts due to weather or other reasons are at the passenger’s expense.

          Char Dham Yatra refers to the pilgrimage to the four sacred shrines in the Indian Himalayas: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These shrines hold great significance in Hinduism.
          Chardham places incorporate Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. They are situated in Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.

          VIP Darshan ticket counter facility is available only in Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. The charges may be around 2500-3000 per person for a single Dham. In Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham there are no special counters for VIP tickets however special Pooja can be conducted through the temple's priests.
          Every Year Chardham Yatra begins from the month of April or May onwards and continues until October/November as the doors of all four temples (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri & Gangotri) remain open till the day of “Diwali Festival” which is celebrated every year during the month the month of October/November. “Diwali festival-Also called Deepawali” is considered as one of the main festival of Hindus and dates of this festival to be decided by the holy saints/Gurus/Priests according to Hindu calendar). After Diwali doors of all temples remain close for the next five or six months due to heavy snow fall and very cold weather as all these temples are located in the remote places of Himalayan Mountain where life is not easy to survive due to uncertain weather conditions.
          Chardham Yatra is considered is as one of the toughest Yatra in Himalayan region, so don’t take it lightly as one should be physically and mentally fit to travel this circuit. Weather of Char Dham Circuit is very uncertain as temperature changes almost three times in a day since day time is hot and evening is pleasant but nights are sometime very cold. It is advisable to take heavy woolen cloths such as warm Jacket, Coat, Sweater, Gloves & woolen socks and good walking shoes with grip, slippers & sandals, first aid kit. Also carry Insect repellent or lotions to avoid any mosquito infection. One can carry rain coat as well as some time it rains in this circuit as weather can be changed at any time here. Don’t forget to bring personal medicines during your trip to Char Dham Circuit if you are patient of any such dieses like any kind of allergies, diabetes or asthma or any such conditions that may require emergency treatment and are specially advised to carry prescriptions of the medicines and also preferably carry a letter from your physician during your trip.
          In order to register for the Char Dham Yatra, pilgrims must first obtain a registration form from the official website or from any registered travel agency. The completed form must then be submitted to the office of the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand along with two recent passport-sized photographs, a photocopy of your ID proof, and the registration fee.
          According to Hindu mythology and beliefs, it is said that every person should complete the Chardham Yatra at least once during their lifetime. Completing the Chardham Yatra is of prime significance to the Hindus as it is the eternal way of getting free from the tangle of life after death. It is also believed that once you complete the Chardham Yatra you will be freed from all your sins and thus attain the path of Nirvana.
