Embark on a 15-day biking odyssey through the enchanting landscapes of Uttarakhand, exploring picturesque valleys, serene lakes, and challenging terrains for an exhilarating adventure.
DAY 01 : ARRIVAL
ARRIVE DEHRADUN AIRPORT DEHRADUN – RISHIKESH RIDE: 20 Kms / 30 Min Arrive at Dehradun airport meet and greet by our representative and transfer to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Lunch is at hotel in Rishikesh. In the afternoon meet with the tour guide for briefing followed by a bike familiarization and test ride session. In the evening visit the ghat of Ganga River to experience charismatic Aarti ceremony. This also will signify to seek blessing from god before starting the Himalayan trip. A team dinner at hotel and overnight is at hotel in Rishikesh.
DAY 02 : RISHIKESH - PANTWARI - GOAT VILLAGE
RISHKESH – PANTWARI RIDE: 130 Kms / 05 Hrs PANTWARI – GOAT VILLAGE TREK: 3.5 Km / 2 Hr Today morning, breakfast is at hotel. Later start your ride to Pantwari, The ride which starts from Rishikesh keeps you at foothills of Himalaya for 2hrs giving beautiful experience of countryside and then comes mesmerizing forest which will surely take your breath away. There comes the climb giving you first experience of Himalayan bike riding. You reach Mussoorie, the Queen of hills commanding a wonderful view of extensive Himalayan snow range to the north-west and glittering view of Doon valley, at an altitude of 2005 meters. Stop here for lunch at a local restaurant and later continue ride further to Pantwari. Pantwari is a small village quite close to Nagtibba and the best route to reach Goat Village. Once reaching Pantwari, trek to Goat Village. Arrive Goat village, and check in at the home stay. Dinner and overnight is at Goat Village.
DAY 03 : GOAT VILLAGE - PANTWARI - NEW TEHRI
GOAT VILLAGE – PANT WARI TREK: 2.5 Km / 30 Min PANT WARI - NEW TEHRI RIDE: 120 Kms / 04 Hrs Morning breakfast is at Goat Village and trek downhill to Pantwari. From here start your ride of today to New Tehri. Initially you have to backtrack to Mussoorie and from here you will take a road out to its left side and find stunning to ride on the ridges forward. Once you reach Dhanaulti, stop for a short break. Dhanaulti is an unspoiled town in the region, surrounded by amidst thick virgin forest of deodar, rhododendrons & oaks, offering an atmosphere of peace and & tranquility. Continue you drive and stop at Chamba for Lunch. After lunch, drive further to New Tehri. Arrive New Tehri and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon explore the surrounding area and experience the view of such a panaromic lake.
DAY 04 : NEW TEHRI - CHOPTA
NEW TEHRI – CHOPTA RIDE: 150 Kms / 05 Hrs Today morning, start early and ride along with the lake for some good time and later traverse through roadside villages and experience village life on the go. After around 2 hrs you will hit the highway and have to travel for around 1 and half hour on the highway itself. Arrive Rudraprayag and stop for lunch here. After lunch, ride further to Chopta which is 3 hrs ride from here. Arrive chopta and check in at campsite. Dinner and overnight is at Chopta Campsite.
DAY 05 : CHOPTA - TUNGNATH - CHANDRASHILLA - CHOPTA
CHOPTA – TUNGNATH – CHANDRASHILLA TREK: 5.5 Kms CHANDRASHILL A – TUNGNATH – CHOPTA TREK: 5.5 Kms Today morning after breakfast, start trek to Tungnath. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is one of the five and the highest Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Himalaya in Uttarakhand, India. The Tungnath (literal meaning is lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. It is located at an altitude of 3,680 m (12,073 ft). The temple is believed to be 1000 years old and is the second in the pecking order of the Panch Kedars. After visiting Tungnath temple trek further to Chandrashila, which is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above sea level. This peak provides a spectacular view of Himalayas, especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place. Today you will carry packed lunch and have it at some small mountain tea stall. It surely give you experience out of the world. Later in the afternoon trek down back to the campsite. Dinner and overnight is at Chopta Campsite.
DAY 06 : CHOPTA - KAUSANI
CHOPTA – KAUSANI RIDE: 180 Kms / 06 Hrs Today morning after breakfast start your ride to Kausani. The ride starts exactly like getting into so dense woods giving a thrilling experience. Initially it is a downhill ride and once you reach Karnprayag the ride gets gradual upwards. The entire day ride traverse through forest, villages and small towns. Later, the uphill road takes you to Gwaldam. Before 14 Kms Kausani visit an interesting site of Baijnath. It is famous for Baijnath group of temples which is located on the banks of Gomti River. These are national heritage site said to built by a king in 1150 AD. Further a short ride will take you to Kausani. Kausani is a place to head for a closer view of grandeur of the Himalayan scenery, from here there are excellent 300 km wide view of Nanda Devi group of mountains, especially of sun rise. The view of snow covered Nanda Devi and Trishul is so clear that one gets a feeling of the snow within touching distance. This scenic and beautiful spot offers so much all year round – sightseeing, history, sport, pilgrimage & complete relaxation. Arrive Kausani and check in at hotel. Dinner and Overnight is at hotel in Kausani.
DAY 07 : KAUSANI - MUNSIYARI
RIDE: 164 Kms / 07 Hrs Today morning ride little back to Baijnath and from here take right towards Bageshwar. The entire road travel along Gomti River and you will be mesmerized by the landscaping by the river bank fields where you may find people farming. After around 1 hr you will reach Bageshwar, which is a district headquarter and a significantly big town. From here ride further to Chaukori. Chaukori is a small hamlet perched at an astounding elevation of 2010 M, which gives splendid and invigorating views of Himalayan Majestic peaks. It is famous for its tea gardens established by Britishers. Halt here for lunch and later continue your ride to Munsiyari. Further from here when we take a bifurcated road to Munsiyari between the towering mountains the climb gets high and high. Later you find deep gorges following you all along the trail. When you get closer to Munsiyari the nature starts getting more and more fascinating. The entire region is covered one side with Rhododendron, Oak, Walnut forests and other with green meadows. Arrive Munsiyari and check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight is at hotel in Munsiyari.
DAY 08 : MUNSIYARI
Today morning after breakfast explore this remote location which is famous for its picturesque beauty and high altitude treks like Milam, Ralam & Namik glaciers. Earlier this was a restricted area as it wedged in between border of India, Tibet and Nepal but now it is open for all and has become one of the best destinations in Himalayas. You can visit nearby villages or just follow some nature path to cherish your wonderful stay here. Also visit Tribal Heritage Museum founded by Dr. S. S. Pangti a retired school teacher and a trekker, traveler and author. He has put together interesting antiques in a private museum at his residence in Nanasen village. Dinner and Overnight is at hotel in Munsiyari.
DAY 09 : MUNSIYARI - PATAL BHUVANESHWAR - JHALTOLA
RIDE: 130 Kms Today morning after breakfast take the same route back to the main road near Chaukori and ride towards opposite direction of Chaukori. From here ride around 35 Kms further to reach a miraculous place called Patal Bhubneshwar. Patal Bhubneshwar is a mysterious and spiritual place situated at 1,350 mts above seas level. This place is dedicated to lord Shiva. It is a huge limestone cave in which one can enter a long and narrow tunnel. After entering the cave one can stand and roam around its huge space. The limestone structures depict various god and goddess of Hindu religion. It is believed that the cave is the abode of 330 million God and Goddess Hindu religion has. This mystical cave is 160 m long and 27 m deep where limestone rock formations have created various impressive stalagmite figures. After visiting the cave ride to a nearby place called Jhaltola, which is a beautiful retreat to experience. Dinner and Overnight is at resort in Jhaltola.
DAY 10 : JHALTOLA - JAGESHWAR - BINSAR
RIDE: 170 Kms Today morning after breakfast start your ride to Binsar. Today the ride is mostly downhill and before going to Binsar we would visit Jageshwar. Here we will also have our lunch at a beautiful boutique hotel. Jageshwar is a beautiful tourist destination situated amidst dense Deodar forest with a stream flowing at its backyard. It is famous for its temple complex which depicts its ancient culture and design. The placement in the mystical and tranquil setting Jageshwar makes it an ideal destination to explore and rejuvenate the body and mind. It also acts as a perfect Yoga and Meditation center due to its calm, fresh and wonderful environment surrounding. After lunch ride further to Binsar. Binsar once the capital of Chand Rajas is an idyllic hamlet & one of the most scenic spots in the Kumaon Himalayas. The chief attraction is a majestic view of the Himalayas – a 300 km stretch of famous peaks which includes Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot and Panchachuli. Arrive Binsar and check in at hotel. Dinner and Overnight is at hotel in Binsar.
DAY 11 : BINSAR - CORBETT
RIDE: 162 Kms Today morning after breakfast ride further to the most famous hill station of the entire region named Nainital. It is a prominent tourist destination situated at an altitude of 1,938 m. it is surrounded with so many lakes making Lake District of India. It is famous for the Naini lake which resembles like an eye and also associated with Lord Shiva. It also houses various renowned schools and research centers. Apart from that it is one of the most promising hills stations of India. Here we stop for lunch at local restaurant and continue our ride to Corbett National Park. After riding around 2 hrs reach to your resort and check in. Dinner and overnight is at the resort in Corbett.
DAY 12 : CORBETT NATIONAL PARK JUNGLE SAFARI
Today morning, enjoy Jeep Safari at Corbett Tiger Reserve. Corbett National Park –Along the river Ram Ganga, in the foothills of Himalayas is situated the oldest National Park of the sub-continent, known as Ram Ganga National Park. It was constituted in 1935, and later named after Jim Corbett. Corbett was one of the greatest hunters of the last century, who later became a leading voice for conservation and protection of wildlife. Most of his hunting life, he lived in Kaladhungi, on the edge of the forest. He was a terror to the man-eaters of Kumaon. The park is home to Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, Panther, Bear, Sambhar, Cheetal, Crocodiles, and many other smaller animals. It is a paradise for birdwatchers; more than hundred and fifty different varieties of birds have been sighted in the park. Later in the afternoon drive to Kaladungi to visit Corbett museum. Corbett museum is a place where Jim Corbett stayed during winters. It houses his books personal items like gun, fishing net, cap, bag and some of his photographs with tigers. After visiting Corbett museum visit Chhoti Haldwani village.
DAY 13 : CORBETT - RISHIKESH
CORBETT – RISHIKESH RIDE: 220 Kms / 06 Hrs Today morning start your ride towards Rishikesh. Today the entire ride is at the plain region so it will be longer but comfortable ride. The entire region you ride through today is totally different from Himalayan region, however your will be crossing a different state called Uttar Pradesh. Stop at Haridwar for lunch en route. Haridwar is a point where Ganga River emerges from the Himalayas to begin its progress along the plains. It is a one of the holiest places in entire India where millions of devotees come round the year during different festivals, fairs and other auspicious occasions. The scenic beauty and the lush green surrounding forests, a unique Gurukul system of traditional education, still followed in some institutions here, the temples and the ghats, a huge number of Ashrams and Dharmashalas; all give the city a unique flavour and charm. After lunch, further ride towards Rishikesh. Upon arrival at Rishikesh check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight is at hotel in Rishikesh.
DAY 14 : RISHIKESH
Today morning, after breakfast set off for an exhilarating trip of White Water Rafting on mystic river Ganga. It is the most exciting and popular adventure sport in this region. Swift moving river offers a thrilling experience which flows through deep forests, rocky terrains and mountains. The stretch of river you will raft down has III and III+ grade rapids. Enjoy the thrilling experience challenging the longest and most sacred river of India. Return to hotel to change and have lunch. In the afternoon visit Rishikesh and discover the charm of this serene town which is famous for spirituality, yoga and adventure prospects. Many national and international tourists come here delve deeper into meditation and discover their inner selves. Return to the hotel for dinner at Rishikesh. Overnight is at hotel in Rishikesh.
